Tuition fees in Canadian Universities differ based on the program and institution you opt for. On average, international undergraduate students can expect to pay around $36,100 per year, while international graduate students may pay tuition costs of $21,100 per year.

While education isn't completely free, you can significantly reduce costs by applying for fully-funded scholarships, university grants, or working part-time while you study.

As per the updated 2024 requirements, students need to show proof of funds (GIC) of at least $20,635 CAD to cover their first year of living expenses, in addition to their first-year tuition fees.

Your parents, legal guardians, or immediate blood relatives can sponsor your education. You must provide official financial documents proving their capacity to support your tuition and living costs.

Generally, a study gap of 2 to 5 years is acceptable for undergraduate and postgraduate programs, provided you have valid work experience, internships, or valid reasons to justify the gap in your SOP.
