In the IELTS academic listening test, you will be listening to audio clips of conversations or speeches from native speakers to answer the given questions. The recordings can be heard only once and the answer will be given in progressive order. You will be hearing different voices and native accents in the recordings.
Format
The IELTS academic listening test consists of 4 sections:
- In recording 1, you will be listening to a conversation between two people about a common topic.

Format
The IELTS academic speaking test is conducted in 3 rounds:
- Round 1: Introducing yourself to the examiner (achievements, reasons to travel abroad, etc.).
- Round 2: The examiner gives you a cue card topic. You have 1 minute to prepare and 2 minutes to speak uninterrupted.
- Round 3: A short discussion with the examiner about the topic you spoke about in the second round.
